Well the shower has come and gone and it went really well!! I was so stressed out hoping that it would be perfect. I think it came out really nice. I think we had around 25 people there (I should have counted) and Jody and Baby K were showered with all sorts of gifts. It was a great day.
Thanks to Hillary at Cakes of a Different Color for the AMAZING cupcakes and cake. If you are in the Battle Creek/Kalamazoo, Michigan area be sure to check her out. She has done cakes for me before (P's christening cake was amazing) and I've had so many friends use her for their parties. Highly recommended. In case you were wondering they were vanilla cake with blueberry filling and chocolate with cream. SO delicious...I had one for breakfast today. ha ha.

I hope Jody enjoyed her shower as much as I enjoyed throwing it! It was my first baby shower I have ever thrown!
Jody and I have had our highest of highs and our lowest of lows during our friendship, but I think since having P and her being pregnant we have been at our all time high. I truly cherish our friendship and love her to pieces and so does P. I can only see highs for us from here on out. I am beyond excited for her to become a mother and join me on this crazy journey of motherhood. I also can't wait to "get my hands" on little Baby Kent.
