Recap!

Last weekend we went home for my sister in laws first baby shower!  It was so fun!  Well, besides the fact that Ms. P was/is teething and she screamed pretty much the entire day.  Poor baby.

P usually loooooves Aunt Jody and blows me off when she is around but she didn't want anything to do with anyone that day.  Notice her cute shirt!

And could Jody be any cuter?!  She's get this....32 weeks pregnant.  She looks amazing. 

Feel free to hate her.  ha ha ha Just kidding but honestly.  Cutest preggo ever.

While home we also got to see one of my favorite friends, Tammy.  She had a baby a few weeks ago and of course looked amazing.  Her son made his first appearance on my blog during the twotara giveaway when he was brand new.  We met him when he was 3 weeks old and holy moly...is that boy cute!!!!  Let's be honest here...so many babies are funny looking.  I'm glad my friends have cute kids!

I think Dust is ready for another baby.

I forgot what it was like to hold a newborn.  I can't get over the fact that P was that small at one point.  She's so big now!  She didn't quite know what to think of baby boy!  She tried to step on him.  Oy.  Most of the time she spent playing with little A though!  It's amazing to see how much those girls have changed and grown.  They used to be just little blobs that sat around looking at each other now they are running around causing trouble together.  It's pretty dang cute.

We saw them twice which is why they're wearing different clothes :)

This trip home we stayed with my dad again.  It was fun and relaxing.  Well, as relaxing as it can be with a teething toddler.

We finally made it back home and haven't done too much this week.  The usual storytime, art, and zoo with friends.  Did I mention my October mama friend, Jen moved here?  I absolutely love her.  I feel like I have known her forever and her kids?  Adorbs.

She's been changing a lot in the last few weeks.  She can point out body parts nose, eyes, mouth.  She knows what her toes are, shirt, pants, socks, shoes.  She knows where all of them go.  She is finnallllly saying a few words too.  Her newest words "what's that"  and "daddy".  No mama yet although she knows who I am.  She knows the motions to the itsy bitsy spider and wheels on the bus and will attempt to do them and if she wants you to sing she will make noise and do the motions.  So cute.

Not much else to update on...I have been getting ready for the shower that I am throwing for Jody.  I'm so excited and can't wait to share everything with you all.  It's going to be pretty cute. 

I will leave you with a video of snack time.  P decided to skip the spoon and use her hands...she also smeared it all over her face which sadly I didn't get a video of.

This kid keeps me on my toes.
